WINCANTON RACECOURSE ~ BARN CONVERSION Client: Wincanton Racecourse Value: c£600k Completed: Completed End October 2005

Limbrick Limited were appointed to develop designs for an existing barn in the centre of Wincanton Racecourse surrounded by a  Golf Course.  The designs were to provide  stable hand accommodation & facilities, provide a new Golf Reception, Shop, Café and ancillary accommodation  and expand non-race day activates by the provision of summer lets. Ground Floor accommodation consists of: Café Servery with seating area and associated kitchen,  providing an area of relaxation and the ability to supply hot food for patrons.  A Golf Shop to supply equipment for the Golf Course next to the barn and dual Reception for summer Hostel and Golf enquires.  The work has achieved a new extension catering a new stair access and lift, major structural repairs and a new roof. First Floor accommodation consisting: 4 No. Double Room Accommodation with En-Suite Shower and WC and tea making facilities, for stable hands / Key Workers  and during the summer provides the potential for holiday accommodation.   Separate Changing & WC Facilities for Stable Hands / Key Workers etc.
