Epsom Racecourse is renowned worldwide as the home of the ‘Derby’.
With the exception of the Queen’s Stand Epsom Downs racecourse has fallen behind the standards of the Super 12 Racecourses in the UK.
Limbrick Limited were appointed to develop schemes to allow the racecourse to be a commercial success all year round - not only on racedays. The final scheme is to demolish the existing Main Grandstand, the Rosebery Stand and the 1914 building and replace them with a new Grandstand and separate Entrance Pavilion, which will also contain the Racecourse administration offices.
The Grandstand consists of at ground floor a Betting, Conference and Exhibition Hall with Catering and Bar facilities, exterior ground to first floor Spectator Steppings. First floor consists of Conference / Banqueting facilities and Raceday Restaurant with Main Kitchen. Second floor / Mezzanine consists of 14 Corporate Boxes and a Superbox Venue. |
