Limbrick Limited were appointed to undertake a Major Conversion of the former Norwich Sports Village into a ‘State of the Art’ Health and Racquets Club for Esporta Group.

Existing vaulted concrete shell roof forms were retained whilst extensive and creative remodelling of the interior was necessary to achieve the required layouts and accommodation.

The scheme consists of :-

• New Entrance with tensile structure canopy leading to Reception, Restaurant and Bar Lounges
• Gym on split levels with a new mezzanine deck constructed within the vaulted concrete Tennis Hall
• 6 no. Indoor Tennis Courts
• 25m Swimming Pool, Spa Pools, Steam and Sauna rooms
• 2no. Multi-purpose Dance Studio Spaces
• Children’s Creche
• Changing Rooms
• Outdoor Swimming Pool, Bar and Spa Pool
• 5 no. Outdoor Tennis Courts

The facility was designed and completed within a year and opened July 2006.
